Situated in the beautiful Tauber Valley with a fantastic view of the historic town of Rothenburg o.d.T., the Eiswiese provides an impressive backdrop for the Tauber Valley Festival.
In addition to the unique location, the event also differs from many other open-air spectacles in other ways: instead of competing in the biggest summer event, healthy structures are cultivated.
A well thought-out organization and the high-quality and well-mixed program selection offer visitors an unforgettable weekend in the “valley”. It is important that the relationship between the audience and the band always remains direct and tangible. The Taubertal Festival is known as the “club show among festivals”.
The best proof of the success of this concept is the fact that the event has been sold out for years… those who have been there will be back!
The VIP ticket entitles you to:
- to access the general festival area (concert area and tent sites)
- for day VIP tickets for the respective day
- for 3-day tickets from August 9 to 11, 2024
- to access the backstage area (without artists’ dressing rooms!)
- for access to the VIP grandstand for a particularly good view of the action in front of and on the stage.
- to use the VIP shuttle service from the city to the valley and back, or to attend the after-show party in the quarry.
(No shuttle on Thursday!) - for participation in the backstage tours (without artist area)
- One guided tour can be taken per ticket; the meeting point for the guided tours is in the VIP lounge in the backstage area.
- access to the VIP and press lounge
- Here you can be there live when artists talk from the inside in interviews
- Sit in peace, have a drink and eat.
VIP parking:
- Free parking on our VIP parking lot near the festival grounds.
- Free parking on the Berg camping site!
Important: The free parking facilities can ONLY be used if you have a suitable drive-through/parking permit in your vehicle.
Passage and parking tickets are issued exclusively at our Service Point.
Otherwise, a parking fee corresponding to the vehicle category must be paid at the toll station on arrival at the campsite.

Your ticket must be exchanged for an access authorization (“VIP pass”). To this end, we have set up a service point in the town of Rothenburg, a little away from the general departure hustle and bustle. However, the ticket can also be exchanged for the access authorization (“VIP pass”) at the “Nord” ticket office at the main entrance or at the entrance to the “Berg” campsite.
