Dear Tauber Valley community,
As promised, the time has come. The new information about travel, camping and everything to do with the Taubertal Festival 2022 is online.
First of all: Yes, there are changes. Especially in the area of parking and camping.
The background is the fact that we have to bring our favorite festival safely into the future. The last few years have brought major challenges.
This includes a concept that ensures that we can also implement short-term requirements and demands (especially in connection with epidemics or terror).
This is only possible for the campsite if we fence off the actual camping area and separate the parking area.
Our regular guests in particular know that in the past we have repeatedly had to deal with massive traffic jams on arrival.
We counter this by getting our visitors to the parking lots quickly and only carrying out the actual check-in afterwards. At the „toll station“ there is then only the parking ticket.
Important: the colorful camps, the large groups with the incredibly creative setups should remain a matter of course. Although we have to prohibit the operation of generators, we offer alternatives: registered large camps can purchase electricity directly from us.
The issue of waste also forces us to change things. Regular guests will also remember how often we have asked them to be careful with waste. Many of you have done the same. But not too many! This also includes the improper operation of units. The littering of our camping areas and the possible contamination of the areas due to careless refueling of aggregates threatens both nature and the availability of the areas for.
We want the Taubertal Festival to remain contemporary, resource-saving, sustainable and feasible at the same location for the next 25 years!
